Results of treating Headaches with Chiropractic Care

​My mother suffered regularly from what she called “sick headaches” which are now referred to as migraines. She had to stay in bed until they passed and no medication seemed to help. 

When she was 60, she hurt her back and went to a chiropractor. After a number of adjustments, her back pain was relieved but it was some time later that she realized that she hadn’t had a migraine since her adjustments started, and she never had one again, although she lived to age 86.

Conditions: Frequent headaches and migraines.

Duration prior to care: Headaches daily and migraines every two months.

Limitations caused: Missed work and school.

Changes noted in chief symptoms: Less headaches, one migraine about every 5 to 6 months.

Other changes noted:  Arms fall asleep less often.

Comments: It’s worth the time and cost not to have migraines as often.

Limitations caused: I could not enjoy my day because of the pain.

Changes noted in chief symptoms: Headaches are mostly gone and neck and shoulder stiffness has diminished.
